2023 Fields of Honor: A Luminous Tribute at San Jacinto

Event date: Saturday, December 2, 2023, at San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site

5 p.m. (Sunset 5:21 P.M.) Volunteer Ceremony with Elected Officials

6 p.m.-12 p.m. Battleground is open to the public for viewing. Vehicles will drive through the park on a predetermined path to see the sea of luminaries.

Mission: We exist to provide a visually inspiring remembrance of those Texans who have given their lives in armed conflict. (From the Texas Revolution through Afghanistan)

A word to our Sponsors: Sponsors will be highlighted in the handout given to each car that drives through the battleground and in the handout provided at the Sunset Ceremony for volunteers. No sponsor signage will be allowed in any area of the battleground to keep the attendees' attention focused on the luminaries. Signage of any kind is prohibited at any time by any group whether it be a sponsor or a volunteer organization.
